Our prostate cancer program is delivered in true multidisciplinary fashion and is tailored to deliver expert care to the high-risk population that we serve.
The team has performed one of the largest ongoing series of radical prostate cancer procedures in Ireland. Our audited results have been presented at international conferences and show excellent surgical and oncological outcomes. We are one of the few private institutions in Ireland to participate in the ongoing national Irish Prostate Cancer Outcomes Research audit conducted by the NCCP.
At BSCCC, we run weekly rapid access prostate clinics every Monday, and on Thursdays of alternate weeks. Patients are all seen at clinic shortly after referral from their GP, well within the four-week timeframe of the National Cancer Control Programme.
